A choir has been requested for the Good Friday Meditation in St Nicholas' Church, Grosmont.

Membership of the choir is open to all interested singers.

Singing with the choir carries no implication of further committment. This is a self contained project and once done and dusted, that's it. You will be kept informed of other similar projects, but not with an expectation that you will participate.

It is NOT expected that singers will be able to sight read music.

Apart from two hymns, the choir will sing three pieces.

• Monday 25 March 7.00 - 8.00 pm in the church;
• Friday 29 March 1.00 - 1.40 pm in the church

If you can sight-read music, it will only be necessary to come to the Friday rehearsal.

Apart from the congregational hymns, the choir will sing three pieces. You can have a look at the scores HERE.

These scores are just the vocal parts. During rehearsal, we will decide whether to sing unaccompanied or with the organ.

There's no need to print these, copies will be provided.
